My friend and neighbour (BookCrosser Blower) offered me a selection from a second large bag of books given to her by a mutual friend who'd been having a Big Clearout. This is one of the ones I've kept to try, although I'm not convinced it's a brilliant choice . . . We'll see!

One long, hot summer on the Welsh coast in the 1930s. Murder and other unpleasantness as seen and experienced by an 8 year old girl with a colourful imagination who interprets events through a filter of youth, ignorance and inevitable lack of understanding . . .
Very good.
