Wow! This is an absolutely wonderful fantasy. Mia Corvere is 10 years old when her father is hanged as a traitor and she swears revenge. To get it she must succeed at entering the Red Church, and training as an assassin. With only her shadow cat, Mr Kindly, to help her, she must take her tithe of a killer's teeth and cross the wasteland to find the assassins, and only then will her real training begin. Loved this, will definitely be reading the others in the trilogy.
