I read this book many years ago and bought this copy intending to re-read it. I haven't got around to it and as we're moving house, I've had to cull some books - however this one is now reserved for the winner of the Home Sweet Home sweepstakes. Iain Crichton Smith isn't a particularly local author to me (I'm in South West Scotland, he came from the Highlands in the North West) but I do have family connections to Uig on Lewis and he was also a Leodhasach.
