This was one of my favorite series. I actually really enjoyed the first movie adaptation as well. I hope others will love it too.

Oops - I did not record when I got this. From a Book Box??? Anyways, I have read it now. What's not to like about Lyra (also the name of our dog!!) Interesting mystery, setting, characters,.... looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I may have to go downstairs and raid my son's book collection we have here as this is one of his favorite series.. before I forget the characters!

We are having an outdoors meetup in the rain. Perhaps in the garage? See if I can find any takers for this.
