Mrs. Hemingway

Naomi Wood narrates the lives of the four women who married Ernest Hemingway. Hadley was the biggest surprise to me. She had more personal integrity than her idiot husband, who took her for granted any step of the way. However, I have to say that he took all his wives for granted in one major way or another. For exsmple, he was not only personally unfaithful, but also professionally ungrateful to the second one, who took the trouble of editing all his work in his prime.
But maybe my favourite was Martha Gelhourn, who could drink him under the table, and that in a way treated him the same that he had treated his two first wives.
