'Bought (along with 11 other books for $2.00) at a garage sale today. I remember this story from my childhood - and it is nice to see new editions are still coming out. Mind you, most children these days would ask, "What's a steam shovel?". It was first published in 1939 - wow...the year World War II broke out. My mother (Bucklesbook) was 12 years old.
