The Girl He Used to Know
2 journalers for this copy...
This book came in my last Bookcase Club subscription shipment, but I had already gotten a copy awhile back from my Fresh Fiction Box Not to Miss subscription! So this one is traveling to fulfill a wish for Queen72.
Thank you so much for sending this book to me. I really appreciate your generosity. Take care and happy reading!
This novel is the love story of Jonathan and Annika, a neurodiverse librarian. Jumping between the past and present, Jonathan and Annika meet in chess club while in college, but break up and then reunite 10 years later. The ending threw me for a loop and suddenly the dates become significant in the last part.
I read this for PopSugar's 2024 reading challenge prompts: "A book with a neurodivergent main character" and "A second-chance romance."
