Well this was my Christmas Week read, and I don’t think that #7 in the Flavia deLuce series is my favourite so far.
Flavia is banished to a very posh boarding school outside of Toronto where she no sooner moves into her room when a body falls out of her fireplace. The side mystery is that the head mistress of the school is part of a secret spy society that Flavia’s mother and aunt belong to.
Not a bad plot, but Flavia acts much older than 13 and I had to keep this in mind.
