Victoria had a spate of terrible weather recently, and like many others, I lost power. Finding I'd also lost heating was the final straw, so I booked local accommodation for a few nights which also allowed me to catch up on reading !
Finished this last night, and I was a bit disappointed. Seemed less of a murder/mystery than a romance. The chapters were short and it seemed to me to have lost the usual 'edge' of a Petterson novel.
Here's hoping future readers enjoy it.
