I found this hardcover in this Little Free Library in Haverhill MA while dropping off some books of my own. It's a cute tale about a young raccoon who's carrying roses to her aunt's for her birthday - but along the way the roses disappear one by one... what could be going on? The text is loaded with r-based alliteration, a "find the letter 'R' in each picture" challenge, and a very sweet twist on the "who's taking the roses" issue!
