I enjoyed this book. Even though the main character is a junior in a high school, I think it is appropriate for middle schoolers to read. This book is set in Portland and so local readers will enjoy reading about familiar locations. I think this is a good entry point book for middle schoolers/high schoolers to start learning about current social justice issues that they might not be personally experiencing. I would definitely recommend this book!
