Not my normal fare, especially given my experience of late with far too many shapeshifter/paranormal books crossing into the "romance" genre (specifically, the "describe as much sex as possible without making it outright porn" variety of that genre), but it looked interesting enough for a bargain bin selection... and despite it not being my normal fare there is something familiar about the story, familiar enough to make me think it is AT LEAST something that's appeared in the numerous anthologies I've read over the years.

Also the "romance" in this one leans heavily on being sweet rather than sexy, so there's that in its favor given my personal preferences. I may have to start reading more from this series once I've made a bigger dent in my to-read pile. In the meantime I leave this copy for another fan of werewolf books, or fantasy in general.
