He thought the world was nothing

but a place for his amusement,
then love makes a joke of us all in full.

You know, I remember watching the original Superman when I was very young and having a crush on him. :)

It wasn't too long after that, that I learned about him being paralyzed from falling off a horse. I was very sad to hear about that.

I think I saw him in the public eye here and there over the years but never really knew that much about him, so I was definitely curious.

His story was one of hope and a determined struggle to regain mobility. He was an athletic person, so I can only imagine how devastating this was for him. I was hoping that he would be able to do the impossible and regain some mobility.

And he did, in some small and miraculous measure. Though it wasn't anything that really allowed him so independence back. It was a sad and hopefully story and I would have wished him well, but I've found he has since passed away.

RIP Christopher, we will always remember you as Superman~
