Journal Entry 1 by ETMadrid from Rotherhithe, Greater London United Kingdom on Friday, April 16, 2021
After coming away (sort of) empty handed (in terms of the NSS Unconvention) after going into 7 charity shop, 2 pubs, 2 little free libraries and 2 cafes I finally found a secondhand bookshop that came up trumps! This is one of 5 books I got today to post to Edinburgh. The list of books they had was a little longer and I chose ones that had connections to things I know: this one with France!
Released 2 yrs ago (4/16/2021 UTC) at Bermondsey, Greater London United Kingdom
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I am taking part in the Virtual Unconvention NSS (my first) and this is winging its way in a northerly direction after being whisked off its shelf in Halcyon Bookshop this afternoon!

Jakeman, Jane – In the Kingdom of Mists (Claude Monet #1) Really looking forward to this, I adore Monet’s Thames, fogs & mists, sequence of paintings, and am keen as mustard to know more about these paintings and the painter. Plus this historic who-dun-it comes with added mystery and suspense = bliss! Come on other readers search for and read her work – Jakeman’s writing is so OUTSTANDING.

GOSH & GASP! My NSS PARCEL did arrive on Saturday! It delighted me by waiting on my doormat to be discovered as I left to buy milk in the evening. Could have been that the postie made too soft a knock I missed when the radio was on loud, or perhaps the postie didn’t knock? Sometimes these sweet young posties don’t imagine my door bell actually works, perhaps as it looks so old? (As well it might of course, as the building is over 100 years old.) To finish, again HUGE THANKS ETMadrid.
