This took me a wee while to read as I was reading it a bit at a time. It was interesting to read about Melville's life and how that influenced his writing. I hadn't realised that it had been so unpopular when first published. I enjoyed reading about the historical whaling towns and what a melting pot they were too. It was really interesting to see the reason behind the name of the tiger in Life of Pi. If that was my name, I think I'd steer clear of the sea! Will look to see if this is on any other wishlists.
