Journal Entry 1 by tigergirlnz from Napier, Hawkes Bay-Poverty Bay New Zealand on Friday, April 9, 2021
Leave Before You Go is about Daniel, who escapes the grind of his London life to find himself alone, penniless and paranoid on the other side of the world.
And it is about Kate, who lives in Auckland and works as an usherette, drifting in the shadow of her successful TV-presenter sister and her HRT-fuelled mother.
Late 1990s New Zealand by a now well-established Kiwi author. I loved this book when it first came out and want to share it with the world!
