I got this softcover at Toadstool Books in Nashua. It's a graphic novel about a rather unusual gunfighter in the Old West who is on a mission to retrieve a treasure from a grave. (The way his fingernails are sculpted into points is weirdly suggestive, though perhaps it's just his way of being crazy-prepared!) The nature of the treasure - well, I don't want to spoil it, but I was delighted when I got the initial hints and realized what was up before the more explicit panels gave it all away.
The artwork's sparse but effective, giving a suitably cinematic feel to the story, and there are some entertaining little philosophical exchanges between the main character and some of his antagonists. Great fun!
[I've enjoyed other works by Veitch in a similar style, including Redemption, Otzi, and The Spotted Stone.]
