To America : Personal Reflections of an Historian

Stephen E. Ambrose is at writing. This book is the memoirs he published shortly before he died. Yet it is more history than it is biography. As the subtitle says, they are the personal reflections of an historian. He talks about the common misbeliefs of the American public concerning their own history. After reading this I want to read all of his books, and the biographies of presidents. He is a fascinating writer, and I look forward to rereading his memoirs again and again.
