Erin French tells the story of her life from the time she was a young girl working in her father’s diner to the present when she now owns a successful restaurant, The Lost Kitchen, in Freedom, Maine.
The book chronicles her life from being an unwed mother, her drug and alcohol addiction, rehab, opening ( and losing) her first restaurant and finally to the success she has achieved now.
It was and interesting and well written story.

My wife's rating. She found it very interesting, and that it concerned the chef of Maine's famous Lost Kitchen made it even more so. Her sister in Iowa has long been interested in going to the Lost Kitchen--it's very hard to get in--so my wife is thinking about sending it to her.

The sister in Iowa here! Loved the book. Have Erins cookbook and yes, am fascinated by her story. First couple chapters took me a bit to get into but then couldn’t stop reading. And yes, I’ll be sending a postcard this coming April!
