How the Democratic and Republican Parties Are Bankrupting Our Future and What Amerians Can Do About It
It was published in 2004 so I'm sure it's now quite dated in many ways, but I'll be interested to see if I feel it still has some relevant points. I took it from a Little Free Library which had lost its front door so it's got some water damage (warped and a bit stained) but still looks readable and has no mildewed smell.

Yes, definitely quite dated as I predicted. This author is focused primarily on the deficit and predicted that if we didn't balance the budget by now, our economy would crash and burn by now, social security would fail, and chaos would ensue. Well, we haven't balanced the budget, our economy has had problems but we've recovered at least somewhat, and social security is still limping along. I do have some sympathy for his arguments and wonder whether the sword has yet to fall. I guess time will tell.
