This Book is Currently in the Wild!
1 journaler for this copy...
1974 Signet paperback, with a $1.50 cover price, of the 1973 debut novel. This was on my list of best past debuts to read when I found this copy today in the Maybelle Little Free Library.
Edit March 2, 2021: I think this was okay, and it was a bit too complex for skimming, with long paragraphs of expository text rather than dialogue. But I just skimmed it to end for time. It seems to follow the life of one woman, Elizabeth, but there is an extensive family tree in the front, and I spotted some of the names popping up in the story, as her contemporaries with whom she was relating. I currently have this ranked at #699 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
