A great book. I finished it in a day because I couldn't stop reading it. I have ordered the next one. Blanche White is a domestic (she cooks, she cleans) she is Black and most of her employers are white. She has plenty of criticism for a racist and demeaning system and her sharp mind gets her through misadventures and even mysteries.
