While looking for a worthwhile cause to leave her fortune to, 85-year old Veronica investigates an Antarctic field station. Shortly after arriving, she convinces the reluctant scientists to rescue an orphaned baby penguin. Her grandson Patrick follows her to Antarctica in an attempt to finally get to know his grandmother.
A sweet story that's surprising, amusing, and heart warming. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
