Thanks for this bonus book for the Mythology Sweepstakes. It's always nice to have a quick read between longer, heavier books.
This little hardcover is retired from a public library, children's section.

This was a quick read. I learned nothing new about Perseus and Medusa but it was a good refresher and I enjoyed the artwork.
And I get to count it for X in the Authors A-Z Reading Challenge for 2021.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I'm passing this on to another winner of the Mythology Sweeps. Enjoy!

I recieved this book in today's post-- thank you, hobbit!
This book was in a surprise package that let me know I am the decoy from Round 17 of the Mythology Sweeps. I hope to read it this afternoon, because it's short and although I am trying really hard to finish a couple of reading challenges over the next two months, I happen to have finished the book I was working on just before going to bed last night. This got here at the perfect time to fit into a gap! :-)

My thoughts were just the same as hobbit's-- it was nice to have a refresher, and I enjoyed the art!
When I saw that they were using classical art in the book, I hoped there would be a photo of Cellini's Perseus that stands in Florence... No such luck, but I liked the art anyway!
I'm not sure what's next for this book; my husband and I are currently trying to build an OBCZ/LFL and we live quite close to an elementary school, so I might hang on to it to put in there... But that's not set in stone (haha).
