I got this parody hardcover at Barnes and Noble today. It's formatted like a little kid's board-book, but with moody, funny/creepy artwork - and a storyline about a vampire who's very, very thirsty, but for what? His refrigerator - which has handles like a casket, and magnets saying "B positive" and a smiley-face with fangs - seems to offer him no ideas, so he heads out. A bartender gives him a beer ("too foamy"), two sommeliers offer wine ("too dry!"), and on it goes, counting up with each change of beverage. [The keen-eyed will notice that the vampire seems to have taken an additional sip from each of these folks, but apparently that doesn't assuage his thirst either.] Then the vampire seeks some "fellow blood-suckers" - including an oil tycoon, a loan shark, a politician, etc. - with similar results. By the time the vampire reaches his final stop, there's a nifty pop-up page showing his enthusiasm for this new source!

I left this book and several others in this new-to-me Little Free Library on this very cold and windy day. (Alas, the nearby Trillium brewery wasn't open today or I might have nipped in for some of their marvelous beer!) Hope someone enjoys the books!
