It was fast paced and an enjoyable read but not sure if I particularly like the character Jack McEvoy. He is a journalist working for an online consumer security publication called Fair Warning and always looking for the big story and then becomes one himself when the police come calling and place him as a suspect in the murder of Tina Portrero with whom he once had a one night stand. I am not sure he has real empathy for the victims in this case but maybe that gives him an edge. He also teams up again with his ex-girlfriend and ex-FBI agent, Rachel Waller who still has her links with the FBI.
