I found this hefty softcover in this Little Free Library in Eliot, Maine while dropping off some books of my own. As per the title, it's a reference work based on places and things from fictional works, "from Atlantis to Xanadu" as it says on the back. Poems, books, movies, and more are referenced here; you can look up the town of Stepford, or the jolly region of The Shire, or ghoul-haunted Arkham, and much more. [As with most such works, it's not comprehensive, and some of my less-well-known favorites didn't rate a mention; seems light on anime or manga sources as well. Still could be quite entertaining, and might lead to some books-to-read if you stumble across an entry that comes from a source you hadn't encountered before.
