Children's hardcover; no dust jacket. Story adapted by Eveline Kasler, with beautiful illustrations by Käthi Bhend. Translated by Marianne Martens.
This Swiss-Italian story is almost 150 years old and comes from Canton Ticino in southern Switzterland. Originally preserved orally, the author found it in a book of local folklore from the region.
Brothers Morris and Boris each have humps on their backs, so they look alike...but their personalities are quite different. One fall, Morris undertakes a night journey that changes both their lives.
