Picked this up when charity shopping for books in advance of a second lockdown!
I loved the writing in this novel which about the lives of three different Lebanese women, all connected by one village. They are set during and after the war, and made me realise how little you hear about the country and what is happening there now, compared to that time of conflict. The writing is beautiful.
And off it goes to the winner of the Authors From Unusual Countries Sweeps. Happy reading!
