1975 Signet paperback, with a $1.25 cover price, of the 1973 87th Precinct police procedural. This is in pristine condition for such an old book. This was on my list of old cop thrillers to read when I found this copy today in the lower Maybelle Little Free Library.

Edit February 26, 2021: This was pretty good. I just skimmed most of it after the beginning, but then the ending sequence caught my attention, and so it was a good payoff. I currently have this ranked at #785 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
