I found this hardcover in this Little Free Library in Pepperell MA while dropping off some books of my own. I've enjoyed quite a few of McMurtry's books, with Lonesome Dove my favorite of his Westerns; will see how this one goes. Later: A very-much-fictionalized mix of self-referential myth-making and questionable deeds - I admit this one didn't grab me.
