I found this softcover in my Little Free Library in Nashua NH today; thanks to whoever dropped it off! Will add it to my to-be-read stack and then release it, either back into my LFL or elsewhere.

Later: This is the memoir of author Edith Hahn, a young Jewish woman from Vienna whose encounter with the Gestapo made her decide to adopt a different identity. Under her new name she met and eventually married a Nazi Party member, who knew her secret and kept it. The book recounts her trials and those of others during some of the most fraught times.
