A bookclub read. I started reading this with trepidation .... I think I had heard a lot from other readers about this book ... particularly the ones that found it harrowing. Really, this is not one that I would call harrowing. It was a fast pace read and in the end, one that I found interesting. I did not know much about the plight of the refugees. I looked up the train routes they would normally take and read it following a map of Mexico. Also looked up some other information online.
