This book is a present to you from Scottish Book Trust in celebration of Book Week Scotland, 16-22 November 2020. These stories have been written by people across Scotland reflecting on the theme of Future, as part of Scottish Book Trusts's annual Your Stories project.

What does the future you think about look like? Now more than ever the future seems uncertain and, at times overwhelming. As we adapt to our changing day-to-day life, the stories we share with one another become all the more important, keeping us going through tough times. Whether it's remembering a would-be romance pre-lockdown, a community coming together in the face of adversity or the love of a stray dog bringing about a new chapter, these stories highlight that the future is a powerful force in people's lives, giving hope for a brighter tomorrow and paying tribute to what came before.

There is always a little gem in these books and this year, for me, it was Rainbow's End.
