Making Toast: A Family Story
1 journaler for this copy...
I got this hardcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It's the author's account of how his family's life changed upon the sudden death of his daughter. He and his wife move in with their bereaved son-in-law and grandchildren, leading to anecdotes that range from heartbreaking to hilarious. (The book opens with "the trick when foraging for a tooth lost in coffee grounds is not to be misled by the clumps" - good to know?)
