I got this ex-library hardcover from Better World Books. It's from Grant's "Newsflesh" series about a post-zombie-apocalypse world. [Grant is the pseudonym of Seanan McGuire, whose work under her own name is also excellent.] The series began with Feed; this book is a standalone taking place at roughly the same time.

It's interesting to get a viewpoint of events from a different set of characters - which include some intriguing people, from genderfluid Mat to the polyamorous-for-convenience main-character trio, Ben, Ash, and Audrey.

I left this book and several others in this new-to-me Little Free Library on this very cold and windy day. (Alas, the nearby Trillium brewery wasn't open today or I might have nipped in for some of their marvelous beer!) Hope someone enjoys the books!
