I got this softcover at Better World Books. It's a charming - and sometimes harrowing - tale of an unexpected road trip, where 11-year-old Scoob and his grandmother set off together. Scoob has plenty of his own issues, but he gradually learns more about his family history - which includes a hard look at the brutalities of racism from the viewpoint of his grandmother, a white woman married to a black man, as they tried to navigate the back roads in (relative) safety with the aid of the Green Book. Touching/quirky/frustrating family-relationship bits, eye-opening glimpses of history - and a chance for Scoob to see his grandmother as the young woman she once was, as well as the beloved if unpredictable figure he thought he knew.
