I read this book already and until digging out my review, I didn't realize this is the first in a series of 4 books.
Notes:
Nice Christmas story about a blended family. Husband catches 2nd wife with friend, three kids from the first marriage are all converging on home with their problems, son from 2nd marriage is MIA in the marines, and the first wife comes back to the Homefront for support. Told in each persons' voice, the story of the 3 days over Christmas is told nicely.

When I started to read this, I realized that it's a book I had already read before. I guess she hasn't written quite as many Christmas-themed books as I thought.

This is a fun read, she's a rip roaring story teller, with lots of humor and lots of good will and quite a few (mild mannered) disasters. Recommended for a little virtual vacation on Nantucket. She gives you a pretty good sense of the experience of living there. (Though I cannot compare it to reality, as I have never been there. Apparently Christmas on Nantucket really is lovely and traditional.)
