This is a beautifully written book set in Malaya during the 1950s Emergency. Like in real life, the characters in this novel have their flaws as well as their good points, magnified by the events they are living through. I have picked up this copy for a secret purpose!
Just realised I forgot to do release notes for this, when I sent it off in a Christmas parcel surface mail in November! It went earlier than the 28, but I can't remember the date.
