I’ve seen the trailers for the Netflix series and wanted to read the book first, but this was just okay to me. I probably would have enjoyed this one better had I read the previous book and was already familiar with that characters. As it was, the characters weren’t entirely like able to me and the story was a bit juvenile to me - a very young YA.
