I found this softcover in this Little Free Library in South Royalton VT while dropping off some books of my own. I wasn't crazy about A Catered Thanksgiving; maybe this one will be more appealing. Later: While I loved the setup - catering a charity "haunted house" in a local school, rife with opportunities for mayhem and misdirection - I just didn't get caught up in the story. Ah, well!
The recipes here included the tantalizing calabaza en tacha, a dish often served at Dia de los Muertos celebrations in Mexico; it's a kind of candied pumpkin, and sounded quite tempting!
