I found this both a fun and fascinating read! Because he is writing for the lay person, the authors style is much lighter than I expected, often breezy and with a good sense of humor.
There are sections, that will no doubt make you go “ewww.” Personally, I can’t imagine squishing tomato hornworms between one’s toes (OK I can’t imagine squishing anything deliberately period, but especially not a hornworm). These guys have such a weird feel up to them, picking them off a plant just creeps me out LOL
And who knew insects have such an amazing sex lives 🤣🤣

This will be taking off in a day or two in the Wild Things book box to find it’s next reader.
