Permanent Collection, but available as a loaner. Comparisons to Levon's book "This Wheel's on Fire" are inevitable. It is one of my all-time favourite rock & roll bios. Donfiction thought "Levon" was a very good book also, and since I last read "This Wheel" many years ago, I am looking forward to reading this bio of the late, great Levon Helm, who in my opinion, was the heart & soul of The Band - not to mention its heartbeat. Levon's southern roots blended beautifully with four Canadian boys named Robbie, Richard, Rick & Garth. Being in a band with Levon they "went to church" and learned about the Delta and American roots music.
