I loved watching Dr Khan on "GPs behind closed doors" (I wanted him to be my GP!) so when I heard he had written a book, I was keen to check it out. This was a lovely easy-to-read account of his experiences at work, some humourous, some touching.
On its way to a new reader as part of a birthday RABCK. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
Happy belated birthday!
Happy belated birthday!
This looks interesting. He's gorgeous isn't he.
I'd run out of birthday chocs so nice timing.
BC supplies alway welcome.
Thank you for everything.

I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh and it made me cry.
Sending to someone who is wishing for it.
Received in the post and just taken out of quarantine. Thanks very much Dolph1n and also for the b.c. stickers which will come in very handy. I really look forward to reading the book featuring a doctor from one of my favourite tv programmes.
REVIEW:-"While I did really enjoy this book I thought that at times it was written in an
over-simplistic way making it almost akin to "chick-lit". I liked the various scenarios made up to protect the identities of the patients and staff and sympathised with the very difficult workload involved in being a GP.
I have nothing but admiration for the way Dr. Khan threw himself into caring for his patients at the start of the Covid19 pandemic, with the minimum of CPE and no experience of anything similar.
I would definitely look for further titles by this author."

This book was given to Emscott10 this morning in a non-contact swap. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did.

Welcome to bookcrossing -you have found a travelling book. Please make a journal entry now to say where you found the book in case it has been moved. Then, when you have read it, please come back and make a further entry saying whether or not you enjoyed the book and why. It is now yours to do as you like with it, pass it to a friend or just leave it somewhere different for someone else to find and help it with its' journey. Of course if you can't bear to part with it at the moment then keep it, but please let me know that you have found it. If you join bookcrossing, which is free and spam-free, you can follow the book on its' travels as you will get an email each time it changes hands, but if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too. Please also say what you intend to do with the book next. Thanks for coming onto the site to let me know you have found the book.
I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.
When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.

Collected from Daffodil-2 in a non-contact swap. Although I’ve never watched GPs behind close doors I’m looking forward to reading it.
I really enjoyed this book, I thought it had just the right amount of humour mixed with the difficult stories about being a GP. I will leave the release details soon.
