The story of a shooting and hostage situation at an abortion clinic, told through the eyes of people who were there, in various roles.

The story is told in reverse order, starting towards the end of the stand-off, and working back through the day to gradually tell the story of why everyone came to be in the clinic that day. It's an interesting framing, but I found it hard to follow sometimes, especially when there were so many different points of view.
