This won the Booker prize, but in spite of that is very readable and engaging. ;-) It's about a young Albanian man who has killed another as part of a blood feud. I found the very strict rules around the whole system of the blood feud and other aspects of life very interesting.
Just realised I forgot to do release notes for this, when I sent it off in a Christmas parcel surface mail in November! It went earlier than the 28, but I can't remember the date.

Despite its short number of pages I found it hard to get through this. I found the rules interesting but the pacing was odd and the side stories a bit random. Hopefully the next person will enjoy it more!
