This softcover was among the books donated to the Nashua Public Library for distribution to the Little Free Libraries.
I first read this tale of young friends and a mysterious carnival years ago, and enjoyed it - and I liked the 1983 film adaptation as well. Bradbury's poetic prose can make the eerie subjects beautiful, and the beautiful ones eerie...
Oh, and there's a charming afterword explaining why the book's dedicated to Gene Kelly!
