I received this in my August subscription box from Reposed book club. I wasn't sure at first, but I ended up quite liking it. What I liked most was the different examples and ideas of motherhood, not all of which involved giving birth. There are some difficult subjects covered in the book, but neither felt too 'weighty' nor did it underplay them into insensitivity. I didn't like all the characters but I understood why they behaved the way that they did.
