Ok, I went and got it. The post is too slow!
I enjoy the railway detective books as they suit me for 3 reasons.
1. I like trains and watch the railway commentaries we have on TV.
2. I love detective work based on logical deduction rather than just thrilling action.
3. I am very fond of period setting for stories set in any time before I was born which is WW2.

#14 in the Railway Detective series. Another very enjoyable read from Edward Marston. Plenty of action in this historical fiction, mostly set in Northumberland. Good for early railway enthusiasts!
