Snow White
2 journalers for this copy...
It was a book with a tape, but the tape's been lost. You can still read it, and it provides a refresher to the Disney version. Up for grabs, PM if interested.
Came in mail Tues after the 4th July weekend my mailbox was PACKED! Thanks it felt like my birthday! :D This version of Snow White is very nice. I like that the huntsman is only sent to take Snow White into the forest (not to kill her) Also, some of the trasitional phrases (a la Disney) are rewritten- but with very clever rhyme and refreshing verse.. (but still true to the spirit of the story). This is a "kinder, gentler version which also addresses that Snow White visits the "Seven little Miners" (not Dwarfs) it seems more politically correct-- but not awkwardly so. Thanks! My girls BOTH begged me to read it this morning BEFORE I took older one to Kindergarten. It is the perfect level for them and I like the variation.
